Memories

Welp, because of Warrel, Nevermore, and this forum, I spent most of my senior year of high school right here, met a bunch of cool people here, fell in love here, and even gained a very amusing stalker here. Saw Nevermore play in at least four states, usually alongside other Neverboarders, went to Will's awesome backyard parties, and even hosted some Texas Neverboard parties with Derick. So Derick, Will, Laura, David (both of you), Karen, LRD (lol), Warrel, and the rest of the crew from the good ol days -- thank you all for the good memories. ❤️

You too, Tobey. <3 By the way, I vote 'yes' to Cara back on FB.

And thank you for all the WD tranny porn. *manly tear*

Thanks to all who are sharing these great memories - I stumbled across this show on YT not too long ago and wrote about my memory of the show - spent yesterday talking with my buddies who were there with me and we agreed it was one of the best shows we've ever seen.

One of my favorite memories – drove over from Tampa with the rest of the guys in my band and ended up staying at the same hotel as NM. I still tell the story a lot – Warrel was so wasted during the day that we were actually afraid they’d have to cancel the show…he had to be helped around by the road crew and could barely stand. Flash forward about 8 hours and we were all just blown away by how incredible Warrel was that night. He seemed like a different person – fully lucid and engaged with the crowd while delivering an insanely powerful live vocal performance. The atmosphere in the club was great – a packed house going nuts, the band was really tight and aggressive and it just might have been one of the their best shows of all the times I had seen them live. I really like the revival that Sanctuary has going but it sure would be nice if Warrel and Jeff could share the stage again one day – they definitely had some magic together.

Hanging out in the parking lot after an SF show with Jim & Warrel. They spent like hours bullshitting with us...Metalocalypse, tour stories, but also just genuinely interested in what their weird internet fans were up to. Couldn't have been kinder or more genuine.

Also the Studio Seven show Will already posted about. That was a fucking blast.

Didn't he think you were me in San Francisco one time?
