Indeed it is, but I still prefer DEI over everything they've done.

Good album, but I can't wait to buy it since each track is like a minute long and it makes a skipping sound from track to track and that gets anoying.

meh... even DEI I had difficulties to get into. Most of the riffs bored me except for the first track. Is that one really better?

i place this band in the over rated category. nothing special. sure they use polyrythms. but thats been done before meshuggah. they just put it in a form people can almost grasp.

Damnit... I got this last night after seeing this thread... I listened to it 1 1/2 times... I really really wish it would have been better. The whole thing sounds like the end of "I", after the weird grinding part. I wanted it to all sound like the weird grinding part.

A couple people I know fellate this band constantly and it really annoys me. While I used to enjoy Nothing, DEI and Chaossphere they just seem to bore me now because most of their songs have a lack of direction and their polyrhythmic style gets really monotonous and sounds gimmicky. *shrugs*

i fucking love this album, every second of it... well maybe not all of the silent parts.. im more of a fan of their new style than older stuff so its perfect for me. it fucking grooves me.

anyone care to tell me how they stay in time on that first riff on in death - is death ? it fucking hurts my head

Interestingly, I never liked anything by this band except for their first album.

The new one has not changed my mind.
