Meshuggah

Me being 46 years young and my infinite love
for music has lead me to a search for the best
music on the planet. Meshuggah are one of those
bands.I personally think the vocals go right along
with the chaotic themes.
Haake, the percussionist, is featured in numerous
modern drummer articles.
Fredrik Thordendal is every bit the guitar virtuoso
that Vai or Satriani is.
Extremely talented young men and if you at least
can't see this you must not be a musician.
I took music in college and polyrythms were
discussed extensively.
When you take music to another level, you
eventually leave some behind.

comon what kind of bullshit are you talking about.... theres no way that its easy to play meshuggah.... maybe its easy to take each riff and play it by yourself... but theres 5 ppl in the band.... vocals / guitar / guitar / bass/ drum....... meshuggah is one of the most complex bands ever...... the only band that i can see that can do better then meshuggah is like... liquid tension experiment or some shit.... meshuggah is a group effort... its not just 3 guysp playing in 4/4 every song... and one guitarist playing extreme super guitar solos and flashing his skill.... its everyone playing something amazing at the same time... ok then

Meshuggah is definitely a talented band. I'm not familiar with much of their material, but rhythmically they are very tight. I too, get very bored with the odd time signatures and structures and I find the vocalist nothing more than annoying. So basically, I respect them, they're just not my cup 'o tea!
