New Skeletonwitch > Warbringer > Toxic Holocaust.
The new Metal Church is great. Kinda like Overkill's The Electric Age in that it's surprisingly consistent in its old-school speed metal aggression, but the difference being that the songs are actually good.
New Onslaught kills them all and takes 'thrash album of the year' hands down, for me.
I was just talking about Oct 29th albums, but ok. The new Onslaught is good but I wouldn't put it ahead of:
Fueled by Fire - Trapped in Perdition
Hatchet - Dawn of the End
Havok - Unnatural Selection
Black Fast - Starving Out the Light
Power Trip - Manifest Decimation
or the new Skeletonwitch honestly.
Hey guys, I've been completely out of the loop since RIITIIR and Incurso, has anything really good happened? I'm up for anything, but mostly black and death. I like crossovers with thrash too, I see that Skeltonwitch and Toxic Holocaust (are releasing, my bad)* albums, I'll be sure to check them out. But anything else I should know about?
The new Summoning album might be the best black metal album since Beherit's "Engram" and that's saying something.
