2013 has been an awesome year so far. I'm not as deep in the underground bands as I used to be, but the new Deeds of Flesh was pretty awesome. I liked that they incorporated more of their older style into the more technical, lead-oriented direction they went in with "Of What's To Come". New Phil Anselmo sounds pretty different and interesting. Black Sabbath and Darkthrone had solid releases. I liked the new Suffocation, but it didn't stay with me and I haven't listened to it much since it first came out.

Definitely looking forward to the new Gorguts, to me, it's the only thing out this year that has the potential to rival the awesomeness that was Spawn of Possession's "Incurso".
