Alice Cooper's got a new record dropping on July 28th, entitled Paranormal, can't wait. Two whole songs from the original Alice band too. First single drops next week.

New Danzig album is a solid 6.5 to 7. Glenn's vocals legitimately have their moments (Devil On Hwy. 9 is definitely not one of them), the band slays even if they are a little compositionally samey.

Awesome, here's hoping it kicks arse.

Fans have grown to expect the dark, more mysterious vibe from Alice Cooper, but don’t let the Paranormal title deceive you as “it’s not really a scary record.” The singer mentioned the title means “other than normal,” which is a testament to the nature of this new collection of songs.

No longer seeking hit singles and high-selling records as “the golden age is over,” this one is for the fans.

He's had so many aspects and alterations to his sound, I wonder which aesthetics he's selected.

In other news likely to perturb CIG, interested to hear the upcoming Marilyn Manson record, Heaven Upside Down, see if it continues the quality acheived by The Pale Emperor, and if he's really going back to a more aggressive sound after a few albums of more palatable sounds.
