indeed. so far my favorites are tales from the thousand lakes, silent waters, and eclipse. I have yet to check out their first one and eclipse, which I hear are also good

edit: er, elegy, that is. I like eclipse.

Down From The Wound (slam death)
MP5K (ditto)
Ted Maul (IDM/breakcore-influenced deathcore)
Cyberya (power)
Cephalic (brutal death)

So you have yet to hear eclipse but it still is a favorite of yours? :p

I think their first one is their best easily.

Funny, I just listened to Amorphis's "Elegy" last night. It's an amazing album. It's in between "Tales" & their newer stuff style wise. I also like "Tunnoela" & "Eclipse". Some of their other stuff I just never was able to really get into & I think their Death Metal early stuff is extremely bland & boring. I'm mainly thinking of "The Karelian Isthmus" & the "Privilege of Evil" EP. I loved "Tales, but I always considered that to be more Doom. I actually got that album when it came out & I was 11 years old. My friend's older Brother got me into them. I listened to that album like crazy as a kid.
