Just listened to the S/T Metal Church album for the first time in a long time. God this album fucking rules. One of my favorite Metal albums of all time. This album is a classic. Its up there with reign in blood as one of my favorites from the 80's. These guys don't get enough credit for their contribution to metal

yeah it's a good one. "highway star" kicks ass. "beyond the black" and of course "metal church" sound good to me still also.

Yeah all of the old metal church shit with david wayne is great as well as some of their later albums such as the human factor and a subtle war.

That riff to the title track is great! Many many years ago on a distant shore...

I don't know if I still have this record - if I do, I had bought it used from one of the little shops I used to haunt many years ago, but when I got it home, I found out it was autographed by the band! (Also had a flyer inside from a show they did at, I think, the Thirsty Whale - also autographed.) Talk about blind luck.

the thirsty whale. many a metal nights i played there. i think it's a gas station now. i seen saxon and nuclear assult there (2 different nights).

I think mike howie which is the singer on blessing, human factor and hangin in the balance is the best singer MC ever had. He just has that rough singing on the fast songs and clean voice on the slow ones. what a great combination to have both styles in 3 three albums. BRING BACK HOWIE
