I didn't expect Australia over Norway from you CIG. What's some of your favourite stuff from Australia?

It was only a tough choice if I thought about it too much I guess. But over these last few years I've really become genuinely proud of the Australian metal "scene" or whatever.

Some of my favourites, besides all the obvious stuff like Hobbs' Angel of Death, Armoured Angel, D666, Mournful Congregation, Sadistik Exekution, Vomitor and Bestial Warlust etc, are:

Mortification (Hammer Of God album mostly), Würm, The Wizar'd (and all associated bands), Fortress (debut), Pegazus, Outcast, Teuton, Grenade, Denouncement Pyre, Sacriphyx, Innsmouth, Ignivomous, Coffin Lust, Johnny Touch, Road Warrior, Angus McDeth, Ironhawk, Kulturkampf, Trench Hell, Rubbish Mob, Mongrel's Cross.

For me, the three most important Australian bands right now are StarGazer, Convent Guilt and Hellbringer.
