I've probably said this before, but Finntroll while I did like them were one of the worst live bands I've ever had the misfortune of seeing.

I saw them, and was horrified. I told my friends and they gave out to me saying I was being too critical.... then they saw them live too.

I saw them a few months ago - and while they sounded great and I had a blast, the new lead singer looked really REALLY out of place. And self-conscious to boot.

I wanted to see them when they were supposed to tour with Borknagar in 2002, but it got cancelled
Lost interest in them soon afterwards so I can't judge on how they play live as I've never seen them. Jaktens Tid is a great album though.

In Flames is great news, I love seeing these guys live, even though the last couple of albums haven't really been my cup of tea. Always a good show, though.

I saw Subway to Sally for the 6th time yesterday, they are always amazing. But maybe not every visitor of Metalcamp will like them cause they sing only in German.

I'm certain not every visitor will like them, I'm certain not every visitor will like just all of the bands. Them singing in German isn't a problem. The fans who like them will go see them, those who don't like them probably won't. Then again Metal Camp is visited by a shitload of Austrians every year so... really no problem

unfortunately we have to tell you, that KATAKLYSM won't make it for METALCAMP 08.
the boys have been invited to tour SUMMER SLAUGHTER festivals in usa - which they couldn't decline.
but no worries my friends, we got a really strong replacement, no less than death metal gods MORBID ANGEL will appear instead @ MC for their first time.
