Metallica cover multitrack to mix

I will try to get fade to black up this weekend.
Where is the best place to upload to these days?
I can't use dropbox because the file will be too big.

Mediafire, rapidshare, or Megaupload are all good for storing really large project files.

Dropbox and Soundcloud are only good for posting a mix or a song you want someone to check out quickly.

Edit: Thanks by the way! Can't wait to mix your version of FTB!

Do these not all require being a member to get good download speed?

If you're a member, then yes you do get increased download speed... But honestly I've never paid for these services, and my download speed isn't all that slow at all. I think only those people that download a shit load of illegal stuff that are a few hundred megs/gigs at a time need to sign up for a membership... otherwise if it's just the occasional project file here and there, there's no need to waste money paying for an "increased" speed. People mainly complain about using those if you post a mp3 or something to it for a mix to someone to rate or critique. I don't think people mind so much when it's a huge ass project file. Ya know? Since dropbox limits downloads you can hit your quota real fast... so these other free sites are good, even though it might suck waiting sometimes, it's still ok.

There are also programs like free rapid downloaded or J downloader that do the dirty work for you so you don't have to wait, download, wait more, download next file and open a million windows to get stuff from these sites. No I don't use it to pirate stuff, just to download shit loads of freaky porn that people upload to rapidshare and other sites, it's helpful for getting a big file or several files

Here we go
Overheads are labelled drummer's POV. ie hats left.
Trigger tracks are audio recording of Roland triggers on kick and snare.
Use these to fire samples from slate trigger or drumagog or whatever.
Some guitar amp tracks are stereo files but should be summed to mono (left is 57, right is 421 on different cones of the cab)
Main guitar tracks are triple recto and 6505 through recto cab with mix of 57 and 421 on different cones.
There are DIs for most of the guitars if you want to re-amp.
Any other questions just ask.
Download both parts and have fun!

OMG there is fade to black o mix? wiiiiiiii:yow:

Anyway here is my mix of RTL, if anyone will even listen to it, lately people tend to ignore shit and only follow the "main players" on forum or "favourites" in other words.

Wanted to get close to the original by ear, band did a great job, i would maybe do something about those OH mics, the hi hat bleed is horrible, had to put original hat track on mute and still went pussy with the oh overall volume.

:danceboy:

Overall a good mix, but those drums sound very drum-machine-ish and the guitars very pod-ish :D

alright now i can download part 2 i will upload my mix when it's ready
thanks a lot mate the great thing is that this is a real drumkit and a recording without click.
i love and use clicks all the time so it's really interesting to do something completely different.
great band great performance

Thanks a lot for the tracks, good work! I had great fun with FTB, one of the first tunes I learned on both guitar and drums 20 years back.

Quick mix with no edits at all (not even fades lol), no samples, no reamping and LOUD drums here

Any chance of getting a Re-up of the files for "The Day that Never Comes"? It appears they are not avalible.
