Michael Jackson R.I.P.

you gotta wonder what kind of meds he was on.

Crystal Meth probably. :erk:

Holy fuck, that pic is crazy - nice of that woman to volunteer to get photographed almost annually (or maybe those were all her mugshots :erk: ) However, I always thought of meth as a poor middle American redneck drug, so I think it's the plastic surgery that made him look so gaunt!

It can be pretty hard to pigeonhole drugs to users.

Although in Jacko's case, it's pretty clear there was some Corporal Jigsore Quandary shiZZle going on! :erk:

Bad and thriller are great albums and it's a shame that he never matched them or never will again

As much as I haven't REALLY listened to his music in years, it has saddened me to hear this. As much as all the accusations have flown at him about numerous things, you cannot deny that his music was truly bulletproof, I don't think anyone anywhere could ever knock him for the music he created.

A king is dead.

I feel bad for his children, for three reasons.

1) Their father just died. Duh.

2) One of the reasons Jackson gave for declining big paydays for concerts in recent years, but finally agreed to do the no-longer-upcoming London shows, was because he wanted all three of his children to be old enough to see and appreciate first hand what he does on stage.

3) I doubt his estate will be able to keep all that lifestyle-maintaining money his backers fronted him in exchange for a piece of the London profits. His children, who I imagine have been raised in a somewhat nutty manner, will now have to suddenly deal with the real world. Or at least as close thereto as Latoya or Grandpa Joe can manage.

Michael Jackson + EVH = Epic Win!

My oh my the "macho" tough guy gang members do look exceedingly ghey.

God bless the 80's.

IMO Jackson died decades ago. :(

is michael possibly the biggest musician of modern times? is he bigger than the beatles, elvis, kiss, the rolling stones? i think so... not sure though. what do you all think?

btw... i'm not saying who makes better music, whether you like pop or not, etc. question is, is there anyone's music who has reached more, and been enjoyed by more people than his?

R.I.P. Michael Jackson!

One of my biggest influences when it comes to songwriting!

I still have a hard time believing its true.
