Just seeing if anyone else on the board uses one. I just made a video with my YouRockGuitar, triggering some sounds from sample libraries. I've had it for a few months now and really enjoy it. A little bit of a learning curve and it forces you to play more accurate but it's totally worth it. Check out the video below

It can do drop/custom tunings with the click of a button. It has 99 presets built in, so you can customize velocity, tuning, and other parameters. For instance, preset 1 on my guitar is standard E and preset 2 is drop B. You can edit all of this on the guitar itself or the software that you can get from their site (similar to Axe-Edit for the Axe-FX).

Glad you guys enjoyed this and to those who purchased it, you won't be let down!

The guitar feels good. There's a small learning curve like I stated earlier but that's mostly just for clean fretting. The neck is plastic (like the whole body) and the fretboard is a 'sandy' rubber feel. The fretboard has 6 rubber lines that go down the neck (they act as strings) and are pressure sensitive. The neck easily detaches from the body, this way you can carry it in a regular sized backpack.

This thing definitely will feel a little cheap but it's an incredibly powerful and reliable tool for writing/recording. The tracking is awesome on it too. You'll definitely have to calibrate the string sensitivity (since you have to pluck or pick them a little hard) but I mainly use the 'tap' feature which bypasses note activation through triggering the string (though you can still do this with 'tap' activated).

I've tried out almost every MIDI guitar out there and this is by far the most reliable. If price weren't an issue, then maybe the Axon Pickup/MIDI module would be the way to go but that setup would be 3 or 4 times as much as this guitar. This is a budget MIDI guitar that is loaded with tons of features. The time it saves tracking & transcribing is unbelievable. My MIDI keyboard is just collecting dust now that I have this.

I've looked at this before but decided it was probably a cheap piece of plastic, until i saw your video of you shredding on it.

I have purchased the Roland guitar/midi pickup combo, but it looked so horrible on my guitar, the tracking sucked and i spent
most of my time fucking with presets and doodling.

Based upon your video and my hatred for tabbing shit out in Guitar Pro i decided to get one! Cant wait for it to arrive!

can i also swap the string order? i am lefthanded :/

Amazing job man. Seems like the ultimate tool for laying down keys, especially for people like me who are too lazy to learn how to play piano.
