I agree with Bleak Eyes actually on the black metal point.. I think that Peter would be a fucking amazing black metal vocalist. He hardly touches the area though unfortunately.

Still Peter's range is what sells me on him over Mikael. Mikael's growls have always sounded kind of lacking in terms of power. The first time I heard Mikael I actually was under the impression he was barely above speaking volume (watching studio diary stuff has semi-confirmed this for me). It just sounds kind of weak. Later albums with Mikael's vocals sound a bit more belted out but still doesn't sound as fierce as Peter.

It pretty much comes down to whether you like old school or modern vocals. Most people on this board are more old school (hence being on bloodbath's forums) but some of us folks joined in thanks to NMF like myself. haha

Of course this topic is beyond beating a dead horse, and more like holding it down and tearing its limbs off...

I think you're right about the level of the growls, but I believe that's because they are done in a completely different way, I can kinda do both but Peter's way is easier and a lot louder too in my case, Mikael's way is a lot harder for me because my throat isn't used to it, but I believe in a couple a years it'll sound much more convincing

Mikael is like the The Lucifer him self, sitting on a black ornamented chair only devastating something when really needed, Peter is like he's Most High Rated Demon General

and I personally think the General is fucking cool, I admit Mikael is more of a genius overall and I really admire him, but Peter simply is... how can I put this.. cooler

To set the books straight..

Mike's vocals is death itself. the growls are so intense and hoarse, it goes perfectly with the RTC thrash style.
However, Pete's contribution to NMF gives me that feeling of 3-4 different singers screaming like demons, the style is totally different in near every aspect from RTC-some of the rhythm reminded me of metallica. It should have just been a different band because when I got into bubblebath around 05, I didn't like NMF at all. I was more toward the whole death concept and all the peotry of RTC, but now I listen to NMF more than anything(goes pretty damn well with WoW; I roll Undead War.)

...... I mentioned how bloodbath suits the UNDEAD WARRIOR perfectly. It's like the music was made for that character.
idk about you but I highly doubt anybody else in this forum reads all the chance references to WoW I make.
So yeah, I could possibly be suggesting something to people that want more out of their WoW experience or from Bloodbath than sound.

lol wtf :zombie:

Well, I prefer Mike, but Peter is really close. But there's something raw with Mikes voice, it has more personality whereas Peter is more like a machine like someone already said. Both are amazing though.

k...seems a bit strange to me, but let's just forget it.

btw: I used to play wow too, undead rogue, almost full s3 yeah I'm having my official coming out :D
but I stopped, it's boring after a while^^

peter/mike thing: I really don't think either deserve the description of "machine-like", both have lots of feeling for what they do. It's a taste thing I'd say.
