Mikael Stanne...

Why do people have to state things we've already known for a million years time and again?

Haha...he IS the best. ;)

BTW, this is not to slag off IF, they were quite a good band.

Well, I really don't get all this In Flames negativity...I actually like R2R, surely they've changed - and I think to the better...it's all very similar to the Soilwork transition. All this IF slagging is just immature, suddenly it has become a norm to dislike the new IF opus....

After I met Mikael and sang along with him last week, he instantly became my favorite vocalist. He's an all around talented, charismatic, and friendly person - seems like a rarity in the world of metal.

personaly, i think r2r has its good points, but the reason why many dislike it is it's a far cry from what most people into death metal want/expect. this is more a matter of taste than childish behaviour: it seems clear that aside from the hardcore fans, many other listeners are not pleased by their change.
maybe it's just a matter of time, or managing to change their target audience.

rahvin.
