Mikael...you ever thought about doing any vocals in Swedish?

In Sorskogen he sings in swedish, it sounds cool, i think it sounds like a far nicer language to sing, but maybe thats just coz i dont understand it. I do prefer to know what he's saying though!

I'm wondering which language is stronger for Mikael? Maybe its easier to get certain points accross in english...or maybe, its just the fact that Opeths appeal to a wider audience would not be possible if sung in Swedish...not that I ever considered audience appeal a high priority on Opeths list...

yeah...but Gemans an interesting language in that you could say 'Love, oh love, emotion yeah, love' and it may sound aggressive and angst ridden to your average, english speaking person...

The vocabulary they use in their music is that of a 3 year old.
Agreed. Wonder if they ever thought that someone could actually understand what they are saying.
