Bought. Sounds exactly as god-awful as I remembered. Great for layering with some better samples, though.

Yeah. Miroslav was pretty much the first orchestral sample library and it hasn't aged that well. Sounds quite dull and synthetic but still usable for layering or scratch demos. Worth $15.

The Miroslav library is at least 15 years old, and was made long before modern sampling techniques came into play.
As such, it's showing it's age but is still fairly useful. It's not terrible as such, but it has been thoroughly eclipsed by more recent libraries.

No doubt, but more recent libraries cost ALOT more than $15. Certainly sounds good enough to be placed in with several layers of distorted guitars and pounding drums!

Haha they do sound kind of old but so rad dude! I swear to God these choir samples were used in Ocarina of Time!!

^ It could certainly have been used on OoT, as when it was released first it was for the kinds of sampler workstations that were popular with composers at the time. It cost a small fortune back then too, something like $4000 for the disks.

Getting a sub-set of it for $15 is a great deal.
