mix bus comp

Anyone tried any of these - drawmer 1968, api 2500, smart C2?
I just need a comp to bring my mixes together.

The Alan Smart C2 is really nice, I've used it on a couple of mixes and am using the emulation of it on the Liquid Mix on almost every mix right now.

IVE been useing waves ssl mi bus a lot, and think ive been overdoing it..
my mixes that i do with it do sound glued, but almost too much, can get squished, think i need to go easier on it, what sort of settings to you guys use?

10 att, auto release, 4:1; hitting maybe 2-3 of reduction.

i always mix into it and keep it open all the way through the mix so i can keep tabs on how much it's db of reduction its doing throughout.
