mixing challenge

No! But my band makes similar stuff and we're going to record some tracks... so
it's a good preparation to listen to these tracks!
When are you able to listen to the rough guitar tracks ;)

Okay, THIS is my effort.

It's not mastered so it's probably a bit quiet, and I haven't listened to anyone elses yet so god only knows how it compares :erk:

Feedback would be greatly appreciated because I've now discovered I haven't got a clue what's going on!

Well I think that´s somewhat messy. Maybe some cut-offs in 200-600 hz could help? The guitars and especially the bass are too loud compared to the drums. There are some nice reverbs and delays though :)

Just noticed that there´s some false triggering in the tom tracks of my mix :erk: gotta repair em tomorrow

Upon listening to all of you guys' mixes, I find my guitars suck. There's a nasty fizz on them. Oh well, I'm no pro :loco: I kind of like the drums and bass though (although there's some things to fix on them triggering-wise and shit)
Ronnie's mix is the best so far

K, with vocals.

I did some editing of them, a couple of cut-and-pastes to beef up parts and a backmasking part

Anyone rememebr Sly Fox? :headbang: First interracial duo to have a top ten, supposedly.

..but then they musta forgotten Sonny and Cher :Smokin:

I still haven't listened to this at a variety of volumes, though :erk:

Feedback appreciated. This has been fun.
