Those are some good bands to expand from Dimmu borgir

I also liked that Xanthochroid album from last year a lot and from a few years ago Transcending Bizarre? put out some really good stuff for the genre.

If I'm remembering correctly, later Obtained Enslavement albums are well-produced and the songwriting is excellent. Also, Mirrorthrone, Imperial Crystalline Entombment and ChthoniC.
