I wasn't blaming Christianity for that. I'm saying just what you're saying. As mainstream Christianity does not condone extreme acts, neither does mainstream Islam. No major religion condones violence. There's no passage of the New Testament, Qur'an or Torah that promotes violence in any form. Algerian government has been fighting against terrorism long before the US, although the US, especially during JFK's term, supported this fight. Afghanistan was just altogether a corrupt country, a lot of civilians were forced to do what the government made them. And after several attacks on Algerian civilians from Afganistan, Algeria set military force to subdue these attacks. Learn history. Mohammad often developed "gods laws" when a problem arose amongst his people. Basically he would have a vision from God. The same vision Stoner Steve has when he trips balls on acid.

Mohammad gained prestige when he led maybe a handfull (couple thousand) fighters against a vastly overpowering and large army, and won. Though he often paid lip-service to religious ideals early on(as any politically astute individual would when ruling a 95% Christian nation)there are plenty of examples of him openly expressing his disdain for the Hebrew Utopianism in any form.

Mohammad gained prestige when he led maybe a handfull (couple thousand) fighters against a vastly overpowering and large army, and won. Islam would never be in existance if it wasnt for this point in time. People saw that as some divine intervention, instead of skillful fighting, and believed his words. Same can be said about Jesus walking on water, blood from stones etc etc.

I have been to the entire Middle East, all of Northern Africa, and several central Asian muslim countries. Some of the places were cool (Egypt, UAE) but most of them were living the stereotype.


All religous books do offer good morals, I agree with you. I am not saying to convert to get toilets. What I meant is that if someone offends most christians, well they seem to just take it in stride. The whole turn the other cheek. But if it offends muslims, well then there MUST be an uproar. Like I said, I am not christian..does the money I use have christian stuff on it? Sure, do I complain? Hell no. Do I complain that there are icons all over? No.
Actually most of the US killing is around 160,000. The rest has been by friendly Iraqi and arab neighbors. Ive been there. I have seen how many we killed, and found all of the COUNTLESS dumped bodies executed by arabs. Hell, we didn't even really put that many down, and ya know what? When I shot someone they were always shooting at me first.

And I can't quote any Korans or Bibles, I have read them both front to back, but I do not own either book. But I have enough middle eastern and religous studies to remember the important parts.

My apologies. I wasn't totally sure what it was. I remember seeing it on tv and while in Egypt seeing a place that I was told "specialized in hysterectimies" Lost in translation I assume.

Please give quotes.. I'm 16 and I've read every major monotheistic religious book. If you've really read them, you should at least remember the ideas from it, I don't have the quotes memorized, but when I remember something from one of the texts, I just look up the exact quote .. You can easily find such quotes online (I'm not doubting your studies, etc, but if it was a while ago and you forgot, you can always use the internet to find the exact quote of something you remember from the Bible or Qur'an).. Many minorities are still being brutally harassed and killed by KKK members.. Maybe a few small, still backwards families practice forced Hysterectimies (which I'd like to see proof of..), but Christian-fueled racism is still very much alive in America and Europe. Still, both are looked down upon by Islam and Christianity as a whole. And it's not "North African Tribes", Algiers is one of the largest cities in Africa, population-wise, and if you've ever visited it, it's very well kept with an extremely low crime rate. Algeria is also home to well preserved historical landmarks like Ancient Roman ruins found in Tipaza and Zeralda, near the coast of the Mediterranean sea.

Media covers black crime just the same as white and every other race, It's just the titles aren't "3 black men kill 2 other black men", they use their names.. And usually pictures aren't shown for any of these, but the reason the KKK, etc, come up in the news and are established as White-supremacists is because they are an organization, who commit organized crimes on usually large masses, and since they are a white-supremacist organization, pf course race would be brought up in the media.

And the 600,000 meant casualties of the war on Iraq, and as those other arab nations are not allies of the US, the numbers of Iraqis they killed would not contribute to that number. The only real things Muslims are pushing for now in the US is equality in just a few simple things, such as getting Muslim holidays off. When the Jewish population in the US grew large enough, they did the same thing.. Which is fair. And right now the Muslim population in the US is the same as the Jewish (and growing faster). So I would think they would want some holidays off, etc.. They don't care about what it says on a coin, that doesn't effect them. And honestly, most soldiers, like yourself, were good people, they weren't the ones killing off countless civilians. Usually that was done in masses at a time, through bombings of populated areas, done as a last resort to kill maybe one or two terrorists (and it's horrible strategy to end hundreds of human lives to kill two criminals..)

No religion can create all positives. It's in the eye of the beholder. Morals, etc, can help a normal person.. But if an insane person converts to Islam and kills civilians, that's because they were insane to begin with, it doesn't matter what religion they chose, they still would commit the acts.
