I heard this the 1st day it came out and for me it set the bar that no other band has come close too. I remember thinking "but how could they pull this stuff off live?"...then I saw them in 91... they pulled it off and a lot more, I was blown away! Never looked at music the same way again.

I still think Master Of Puppets is truly epic. The album as a whole is epic, non singularly. But umm... jeez epic is hard to define. A few for me would be, Karnivool - Themata. It's pretty darn good. Bloodbath - NMF to me is epic, in its own way

I was just listening to Sad Wings of Destiny the other night and was amazed how great it sounds through headphones.
