Immolation - Failures For Gods
Ulcerate - Everything is Fire

Truth.
I took a little listen to Pan.Thy.Monium on your recommendation, the synths are mental.
If only Immolation had better production, first two albums lack any power whatsoever.

Good list, even if I'd have chosen different albums for the bands

Let me guess, you'd have The Sham Mirrors for Arcturus, Ensiferum s/t, Night of the Stormrider for Iced Earth and Imaginations from the Other Side for Blind Guardian? In which case, I'd have them too haha!

I just wish the Sham Mirrors had better production on the guitars and drums...

Old Immolation is some of the best death metal production ever man. Dawn of Possession and Failures For Gods are two of the best sounding albums I've ever heard.
And yeah, Pan.Thy.Monium rules. I'm so glad SOMEONE combined pan pipes with death metal.

Also rats (or whatever the fuck your name is) you should probably check out EVERYTHING I listed \o/

Morbid Angel - Blessed are the Sick/Formulas
Anathema - Silent Enigma
My Dying Bride - Turn Loose The Swans
Entombed - Clandestine
G'N'R - Appetite for Destruction
Gorefest - False
Carcass - Symphonies/Necroticism
Paradise Lost - Shades of God
Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses
Carnivore - Carnivore (if you don't like this you're just gay beyond belief)

That's all for now :Smokedev:

Yeah it's got a cool vibe for sure, but I would much rather they got Burns to do it (however boring that may sound)
I'll check out some of the more metal shit.

It's Tom btw

check it ALL out, expand yo horizons nigga.
several of those albums are potentially life changing

Also, for sheer epicness on a grand scale

Bathory - Blood, Fire, Death and Hammerheart. Epic, epic stuff.

Blind Guardian -- Nightfall in Middle Earth
BTBAM -- Colors
Cradle Of Filth -- Damnation and a Day
Iced Earth -- Dark Saga
Nevermore -- This Godless Endeavor
Opeth -- Blackwater Park and Ghost Reveries

+1 on not being able to say just one.. haha

I would say :
-Scenes From A Memory by DT;
-The Wall by Pink Floyd
-Blackwater Park by Opeth

And Master of Puppets because it's in my opinion the best metal album ever, even if it's no more my favourite one. Don't know how to explain this, but I think that I'm not the only one in this case...
