I just heard Lords Of Hypocrisy by Pagan Altar, and MAN is that one fucking killer album! Every single song is outstanding, and I can't remember the last time I was able to say that about an album.

Fuck yes. I own (unfortunately only) the Candlelight re-releases of both and they are easily both among my top 20 black metal albums ever probably. EXCELLENT, immersive stuff.
This year has not had much mindblowing stuff so far that I have heard, but the new Beneath The Massacre, Lunar Aurora, and Cephalotripsy albums have kicked my ass in different ways! Other than '07 albums, I must say that, while not mind-blowing, Cidesphere's Interment surprised me a hell of a lot.
Thank you sir.. more if you have.. anyways i hope i can find some of these because i do not like buying online and paying shipping... as for the ones you mentioned.. im not fond of Summoning.. the first album i bought of their's was Oath Bound... thought it was total crap... sold it at a loss... not the same band but you might want to check out Belphegor if you don't already have their albums... a cross between Black and Death metal but done very well... start off with their Lucifer Incestus album... excellent album...

The last album I bought which totally knocked me out was The Stench Of Redemption by Deicide.
It was the first Deicide material I heard which left me totally speechless.
The latest Celtic Frost album Monotheist impressed me as well.

dude, its been out since 2005!!! I've listened so damn much that im ready for the new cd.
I love it, the folk elements, the techy drums and guitar parts, and the flute (which I think is the keyboard) is awesome!
