Sorry for that witch :)

Siren (mel, i hope it's ok that i translated :))

Bah...humbug...movies...
I prefer to stare into a huge campfire and make my own plotlines...that way I'm never disappointed by what idiots scriptwriters and directors are....:( RESIDENT EVIL! ZOMBIES! HOW COULD YOU GO WRONG!?!

I watched Spiderman yesterday (the english version), and it's ok, but I don't recommend to see it in a theater. I saw it at home and it was pure entertainment, without impressive special effects and mainly unknown actors.

After watching Spiderman, I started with Amelie, I didn't finish 'cos today it's supposed to be a working day (but I'm just replying to the board). But I think Amelie is very original, perhaps it will be chupier than I expected.

|ng (This thread is a great rebirth for us)

The last movie I've seen was From Hell - just ok - the friend I went with was very scared, don't know why
Now I'm waiting some Terry Pratchett to become movies ;) 'cause there's nothing really interesting playing

i'm afraid they'd do a poor job with terry pratchett... i think i'd like it better if it all just stays on the page. :s
i've always been curious as of why ppl get scared watching movies... perhaps they're very bad movies. ;)

rahvin.

i agree on that. horrible movies scare wise people, since wise people ask themselves what kind of corruption drives the masses of humanity to entertain themselves with horrible movies. then, being scared takes on to a whole new level when wise people realize they actually were in the theater watching the same horrible movie, otherwise they would not have known anything about this whole story.

hyena (BOMB THE BAN!)

not to mention the wave of sheer terror doomed to fall on the unwary upon realizing that the only other way of knowing of this story is being told by hyena on the dt board.

yes, of course i was forgetting :)

hyena (nothing is as bu as it seems)

when "The Green Mile" cames on theatres.. I was really scared to see another S.King novel became a sort of ridiculous joke. Fortunately, my doubts were erased. It's really strange to recognize characters before somebody calls their name :) Great actors choice, nobody can "be" John Coffey or Paul Edgecomb.. or Brutal, better than those men :D
Believe me or not, I thought that both novel and movie were really touching.
