MY BANDS SONG NEEDS MIXING/MASTERING

It's my first time mixing this kind of music, but it was a lot of fun none the less! Hope you like it.

I use a RODE NT1A in the corner of my room with about a meter on each side of acoustic foam and a little roof of acoustic foam.
Or did you mean the performance ha?

Can you give us an example of an already mastered song from a band you like the sound of? Just so we have a reference of what you generally want it to sound like.

I think i want more of a feel to it. A cross between the 2 would be good haha.

Thanks! It was gonna have some cool effects going on, but I didn't get around to it. I didn't do much to the vocals aside from a hint of compression, some de-essing and some 'verb/echo on the clean parts.

Here is my rough/quick version.

Would do some automation on the vocals and maybe some effects but no point when its just a quick demo mix really.
you'll hear some artifacts like analog delays making some noise but that's an easy fix in the final version.

I'm suprised no one has put heaps of delay on the chorus vocals like i did on my mix

Gave this a shot and mixed on headphones, so I can tell it's not perfect. Still, It's what I got so far and I'd like some feedback so I can improve it when I have more time.

The drums are REALLY buried, I can barely hear them at all. I can certainly hear that crash, though, that needs to be turned WAY down. The guitars sound like they have a little too much mud in them. The vocals are a bit loud, but otherwise sound good.
