Never heard Lion's Share. Which album should I start with?

I personally love their first 3 albums. Mainly because Anders is one of my favorite singers. If you like Section A you will like those discs

I'm going to see them tonight since they're opening for one of my favorite bands...I really like Act I but that's all I've heard. Is Act II worth listening to?

If you like Act I, there's no reason you shouldn't like Act II. Act III is more of the same, though the best parts of it don't compare to Act II.

I saw the setlist from last night, and its mostly Act III material with I think 3 songs from Act II.

the new Alestorm is terrible....very half assed disc.

Terrible? I'm liking it more everytime I listen to it. I catch myself humming a few tunes during the day along with a few off the new Tyr CD.

I am really enjoying the new God Dethroned.

I enjoyed Ravenous. Everything since has seemed either generic or weak. I'll have to check out the new one.

HAHA - that's funny. I actually thought the same as you first time through, but I gave it a couple more spins and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

BTW - the new Crescent Shield is really good.

I don't know why anyone would think that, they followed the style of the first disc de rigueur, so if you liked Captain Morgan's Revenge, this is simply ten more songs of the same.

Yeah, I'm starting to like how much each of their albums differs from the one before it and yet all manage to be excellent.

I bought 3 copies + a vinyl of the new dredg album. Why? various reasons:
1) a cd copy came with the vinyl
2) I found a promo of it a few weeks before it came out
3) I felt like buying a copy on-sale the day it was released.
