Okay, so really such things are subjective, so talk like this comes with a grain of salt for sure. That stated....
Despite the extra thick layers of cheese this band is prone too, and despite the fact that in my personal "halls of the great," list such a band as the below really stands out as kind of out of place.....
I was listening to Manowar's Into Glory Ride today (for the first time in some time), and I was reminded that Eric Adams is an amazing singer. I owned most of the early Manowar records (always with a strange air of sheepishness, admittadly), and of those this one is the most atmospheric of the bunch. But, aside from that, Eric Adams is just plain stellar from start to finish. In the stratosphere really.
I honestly hold this up in similar esteem as say, Black Sabbath - Born Again, so far as pure vocal performance goes.
