N3KRO PICS THREAD

I gotta disagree with Watain - Sworn to the Dark being (so high) on the list.
Arcturus LMI isn't really BM, they should have put AHS instead.
Thorns should be higher.
I'm glad they mentioned In The Woods...
Also, where's Written In Waters, 666 International, Min Tid Skal Komme, Witchcraft & Soulblight?
1st place is deserved.
2 places in top 10 are Emperor.Interesting is that they took Eld as the best Enslaved,Sons Of Northern Darkness wouldnt be on the list at all.Rotting Christ should be higher,Drudkh and Master` Hammer are surprises.I agree Watain is too high.Filosofem is not even a BM album imo.Stormblast is a pleasant surprise. No Blasphemy?
But then again, its really hard to make a list everyone would like.I found this list few minutes ago and it looks decent.

I cant pick just 10 albums, its impossible.I dig a lot of undergound BM,list of 40 yes but 10 no way.

Yes, it's kinda difficult. I'll try to post my toplist, some time today.

Of all time?Just 10?Impossible.

Vitorias123, please make your top10-BM albums list. :)

yeah wtf? i would never ever ever consider them viking metal...but whatever

:(

Well it's obvious that those kinda toplists are just one person's opinion and I think every BM-fan has own opinions. In fact, I wondered what albums would end up in my Top-10 BM-albums, and it's really hard to decide.

Viking Metal basically came from Black Metal.
Alot of it has the same thick atmosphere, temelo riffing, ect ect that come from BM style, its just lyrically a lot more... "dicky" so to speak. Technically its still the same thing imo, just when most think Viking Metal, they think Korpiklaani, Turisas, Ensiferum, and even Finntroll or Alestorm type stuff, which really doesn't convert to BM that well :p.

Windir sounds pretty well in the middle of the two, but I hear alot more of a black influence than folk.

All music is basically the same anyway.
