Evergrey never really "hit" me. I am not here to bash them though. I do absolutely love the song "She Speaks to the Dead" from SDT. I guess since I really dig that song, that is my fave.

Recreation Day-special album to me cause it was pretty much the first progressive metal album I've ever really picked up and meant so much to me the first time I listened to it. Plus there's no doubt that RD has the heaviest damn riff's lol (blinded, great deciever)

Right now In Search of Truth...but Monday Morning Apocolypse is closing in fast. I think MMA is an incredible album. Melodic, Heavy, Dark, and Mature. I see MMA as Evergrey's "Empire". It's way more accessible than there previous albums but it's still distinctly Evergrey. I hope this album brings in the fans by the bucket load becuase this band deserves some major success.

Ugh the infamous 'what's your fave' questions... I'd have to agree with the multitude here and go with Recreation Day but Inner Circle and SDT are like a so close second it's on it's ass... And MMA has grown on me... I wasn't too kean on it at first, now it's really kewl...

The Dark Discovery would be mine. I remember seeing Evergrey at Powermad in Baltimore years ago. They came out and kicked ass and I've been a fan ever since. In Search of Truth would be second.

I was at that Powermad show... I was chatting with friends but when they did 'Nosferatu' I was completely blown away... They are the shit!!!

My fave is The Inner Circle. It has their best melodies IMO and their catchiest songs, while still being heavy.
Honestly, if I was to attempt to turn a new person onto the band, I believe I'd toss the Live DVD his/her way. That's an excellent place to start in my opinion.
