I don't know but I think it's stupid for people to say that one type of music is emotional. I have the same problem with the term "indie rock". I know that conjures up images of certain types of bands for some people, but isn't all independent music "indie rock"? Like, Isengard's Vinterskugge album could be considered "indie rock"

As for Anathema's music, I can't really name their musical style.

it's not stupid, some musics are really more "emotional" than others. but there are much kinds of emotions... Slayer may be described as emotional music, but not like anathema I guess
