Need confirmed for ProgPower USA XV

Greatest replacement...EVER!!!
Fucking awesome news! The 2nd & 3rd cds have not left my player in 3 months!!!

Glenn is GOD!

Looks like I have a lot more listening to do... I'm amazed at the turnaround time of the replacement. I wonder how many bands did a "Pick me! Pick me!" Scramble on this one.

I wasn't overly impressed by the 2 songs I had heard previously, but DAMN that "Mother Madness" song slays. You can hear the Nevermoreish sound coming thru, which makes me happy. Need to give this band another try (pun intended)

All the way from Athens, Greece. I had never heard of them, but I like what I've heard so far.

The music isn't so easy to find:

As Glenn said, "Orvam: A Song for Home" is at Laser CD:
https://www.lasercd.com/cd/orvam-song-home
Youtube has the entire album here:

I found "Siamese God" at CD Universe:

I found "The Wisdom Machine" at eMusic: http://www.emusic.com/album/need/the-wisdom-machine/11092665/
As always, I checked the bit rate for this, and unfortunately its one of eMusic's older crappy rips. If you get the MP3s from eMusic, expect 192 to 240 kbps average bit rate.

When Glenn 1st introduced the band to the forum, I was able to get all 3 of their CDs right from their Bandcamp page. Plus, you get immediate mobile streaming from the free Bandcamp app. Very awesome, plus the guys ship right away.

#1 album of the year so far as well. Immensely looking forward to this. Certainly an upgrade (without diminishing Thought Chamber at all).

Exactly, Milt. This and Teramaze are head, shoulders and torso above everything else I've heard this year. Now we just Need (oh shit I made a pun) to find them a US label for more distro...

Glenn, you are the master! When I suggested this talented band for next year's possible line-up, I never imagined they would get invited this year. One band's loss is another's gain. Your unparalleled festival will give our friends in NEED the savvy listening audience they deserve. Kudos to Glenn!

Admittedly, Thought Chamber were probably the band I was least excited for out of the whole lineup. But Need sound amazing out of the few songs I've heard. I'll quickly make some changes to my mega-ProgPower Spotify list.

I am really proud of these guys and dammit they deserve it.

But, my thumbs up and respect goes to Glenn and everyone on this festival. That's the way to support a scene, that's the way to support good and hard working bands, that's the way this music should work.

Guess we really need to get there on time now and not miss them

Great choice....been in que to pick up on I tunes for a while..guess they now go to the front of the line
