Need some recomendations.

Grave
Therion

I'm already big on swedish death metal like Grave,Entombed,Carnage,Edge of Sanity,Dismember,etc... which sounds nothing like Unanimated. I'm asking for similiar albums, not any older death metal albums.

What's the point in mentioning stuff like Grave,Amorphis,therion,etc.... who has no heard them already ?. I made this thread hoping to get albums i've not heard that are similiar to those ALBUMS. This thread is not 'recomend me oldschool death metal albums because i got into metal 24 hours ago'.

Malignance is the only one that said bands i've not heard that are probably similiar. I'll be checking those out.

I should also add: why would I not recommend bands people haven't heard of? What's the point in someone asking for some more death metal and then I recommend something like Cryptopsy or Death? People want something they haven't heard of or haven't listened to.

Not all of them are extremely similar, but I can't imagine you disliking any of them.

And good luck finding Slumber Of Sullen Eyes at a reasonable price. I've been searching for about two years to no avail.

No actually they're pretty fucking good French death metal...only Engraved In Blood, Flesh And Souls is truly great though...I found the 2nd one a bit disappointing. And they're really not similar to the topic creator's requests at all...still, worth a listen or 8.

Sacramentum. Far Away From the Sun is their best album, but it is black metal. I suggest you check out their other albums, which are death metal in the style of Necrophobic and Unanimated. Also check out the bands Dawn, Vinterland, and Seth. They are black metal bands, but they are death-ish black metal, and sound somewaht like Necrophobic and Unanimated, who are blackened death metal. Maybe check out Haemoth and Hegemon, too.
