Nemhf?

It's not looking good. They are really holding back on confirming bands, basically waiting until the last possible moment to confirm anyone to see how many more metalcore bands they can squeeze into the show, and if it goes much longer, we will not be playing it just for the expense fact. The longer we have to wait to plan the trip, the more expensive it gets for us to do. It's not looking good at all.

What the fuck?

I fucking hate metalcore!

They'd be stupid to turn you guys away for some trendy fucking pop bull shit metalcore. I guess that's just what they want out of it. Fuck them.

:yell: :yell: :yell:

The same thing goes for Usurper's chances.
Earache keeps getting the "we'll get right back to you about that" deal.
Oh well.
At least we're playing the Northern Lights Festival in Toronto 4th of July weekend... Usurper AND Impaled Nazarene? People will be killed by the sheer volume of the METAL!!!!!

Oh fuck me, I might have to go to that!

We wanted to play the Northern Lights festival this year very badly, and now knowing that you guys are going to be there too, it's a real shame that we can't. Oh well, if they can't squeeze us on this year, there's always next year. Here's hoping! I love Toronto, playing there rules!

Yeah honestly, I don't really know what the reason is for the long delay with NEMHF, but I'm guessing that with it being such an incredibly popular fest now, there's probably many more requests from bands and labels for space on the fest, and even with three days now, it's probably a real headache trying to get the logistics all figured out. I can surely understand that. Still though, the reality of it is that most bands and labels really needed to be given a yes or no answer by now, since plane fare, hotel accomodations, etc., really would need to be booked immediately. I'm still keeping up hope that something will work itself out with this fest and us playing it, but it isn't looking good so far. Which is a shame because every experience I've had playing in New England has been fantastic. Some of my best ND memories are related to playing in Worcester and other parts of N.E.

Pfttt, come play the show we're playing with Amorphis! :D

I'd love to play with Amorphis again someday. Was fortunate enough to share the bill with them a couple of times when they toured here for "Am Universum" (which is my favorite album of theirs, I know many disagree with that one!) I will miss Pasi's presence in the band, but I want to see them still regardless. Have fun at your gig man, and good luck!! Let us know how it went.
