their shows in Jaxx and I hardly payed attention to the opening bands...

Their drummer is - I was trying to start something up with him but we lost touch and I haven't heard from the fucker in ages. Amazing grind drummer, amazing all around drummer actually. He's got very good chops.

Jay, in general, does not deal in out-of-town bands for openers for nationals because they don't sell tickets, which is the reason he has openers in the first place.

I *really* wish I'd passed on the Gamma Ray show about now, since I'd be selling all of you tickets!
