Wow, what a kickass show...Arch Enemy didn't play because (this was their excuse...if it's true or not I dunno...but I think they were just too sick to play) their bus was infested with insects. Weird.

So I'm standing around waiting for tickets, the only American around and I didn't even notice something. I speak a little Italian so I'm asking about where to buy the tickets, and there was this little huddle of people, and I saw an autograph flash in front of my face, and was like, WHAT THE FUCK? There was only about 20 people standing around, and it was about 4 hours before the show started.

So I look up, and Warrel is looking right at me through sunglasses and a hooded Immortal sweatshirt. I said, "HOLY FUCK YOU'RE WARREL DANE!!! I WALKED RIGHT PAST YOU AND DIDN'T EVEN SEE YOU!!!!"

Then he says, "HOLY FUCK YOU'RE AMERICAN!!! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE??" It was quite humorous.

The coolest part of the show was when they sang Dreaming Neon Black, and I was thinking that Warrel would sing the female part, because Arch Enemy wasn't gonna play, and I couldn't think of anyone else who would sing the female part in the bridge. Well, all of a sudden I hear, "I am a child of light, living in your mind...." sung by a female, and was like "What the fuck? I recognize that voice." As soon as I heard it, it all clicked. We're in Milan. Lacuna Coil is from Milan. (by the way I got to meet their drummer...cool motherfucker.) So Cristina Scabbia walks out onstage and sings the part with Warrel. Fucking classic.

Another thing I forgot to add...I told Warrel that I bought the new album the first day it came out and that I think it kicks ass and everything. He starts laughing and says, "Yeah, but the production SUCKS, AND WE KNOW IT, HAHAHAH!!!! But what can you do now that it's done?"

I couldn't really argue with him.

Yeah, ol' WD is a nice man, and it was good that they were able to cover the female vocals. :)

That's kinda what I did...and I was honest. I don't think the production is HORRIBLE, but it's not nearly as good as DHIADW. I told him that Rust in Peace has shit production too, and he says..."Yeah, but that's a classic metal album." True, but still...

hmmmm i'd like to get a bootleg of that show, audio or video.... seeing as i love Lacuna Coil.... hmmm eeeenteresting
Yeah a bootleg would be awesome!
Why dont' we get to see cool shows like that here in the U.S.?
I would kill to see something as sweet as that.

Coolest thing I ever saw was the Fates Warning show here in CT. They did like a one off show at this huge place right before inside out was released.
They played of all songs Guardian and Ray and John Arch did a duet on it.
It went something to like " ladies and gentlemen........Mr. John Arch! "
the whole place exploded in applause, people singing along. aaaaah.
Classic!

But, here I am rambling again. More cool stuff like Christina and Warrel singing together should happen in the states.

"Cristina Scabbia walks out onstage and sings the part with Warrel. Fucking classic."

Now that is awesome, I so wish I was there. :(
