Dude, since "the split" I've heard a thousand of times "Van sucks and he can't drum anyway", or "Jeff can't pull off some stuff"...
Are you nuts? Just because your (and mine) favorite band have disbanded it does not mean that everyone is a damn sucker...

Jeff stuff on the 7-stringed is worst than the previous material or even Arcturus (which is a great band by the way)? Dude, TGE is a landmark... and what about DHIADW??
It doesn't matter what the press tells us, we're fans, and we will never get the proper answers, and we're not going to know or feel exactly what Jim, Warrel, Jeff and Van are goind through right now... I bet even Attila can't have that, because, dude, it's a human relation, carved for years between these guys... And what we get is just the music business... And great music.
Seriously... these guys played the soundtrack of my youth for years now, such great music (and that's what it is all about for us fans - even those of us who have our own bands), and man, if they can't get along with each other anymore... They've left a musical legacy that's very important... But they're not Cliff Burton, they are not dead, they can still make great music and I'll support each one of them with they're next bands because I know that more then pulling off their instruments, they are all really creative people!
Dude, Warrel is amazingly talented and his vocal performance did not got Nevermore uncommercial or something like that, but helped shaping the band identity!! As well as Loomis shreddin', Jim's writing and Van original playing style.
Forbidden is looking for a drummer, I really would be happy if Van would play with those talented guys, it would be smashin'!! But I know he will do well anywhere.
I'm anxious to know what will be Jeff's next move after his solo efforts.
More than that, I'm sickly waiting for Sanctuary's news, 'cause it's my favorite piece of music and it's going to be awesome to hear what Warrel and Lenny can write together at this stage!!
Nevermore is going to be different now, obviously... but I can't believe Mr.Dane is able to put shitty stuff on a record... And the band's trademark is already constructed by the previous material.
Just stop curseing people you don't even know.... It's far from our reach to understand what have happened for years and let to this point.
But the media lives for this kind of shit.... and we feed it.

From the way I see it, Warrel still sees Jeff as a brother (as stated in that last interview I heard). That bridge isn't burned just yet. If I were him I wouldn't want to be labeled an "asshole" by a former bandmate and surrogate brother more so than anyone else. Then again, I could be way off base with this. Just voicing my opinion.
