Nevermore Voyager dvd

4 discs, are you fucking kidding me!?!? Good lord, it's probably just hours of them all fellating each other in the tour busses (if it's anything like the most recent Bodom DVD, that is  )

The 4 disc version just has the main dvd show from Bochum on 2 Audio-CDs. So it's 2 DVDs and 2 CDs...

I actually wanted to get the regular 2 DVD version but the store only had one copy of the limited edition, so I got that one. Being a fanboi, it's ok...

As of know, first impressions, I'm having some problems with the editing. Too many fast cuts and especially waaaay too many close-ups. I also really dislike it when audio and video are not in sync.

But the sound is ace. Might not be on the same level as Testament's "Live In London" (but that's a tough standard) and obviously revamped at places, but still very good.

Right now I don't even know if I'll buy this... I'd probably only watch it once anyway. And I hate fast cuts and stuff... just give me a real unpolished footage like Death in L.A. ;)
Ah well, maybe I'll change my mind again if you all rave about it. :D

But thanks for the mention, I just found complete footage of them on Youtube playing a concert in '99! Can't believe there's only a few hundred hits on it in several months...

Now THAT's a setlist I'd love to see! Nowadays I pretty much stick to their old stuff anyways. Plus Jeff Loomis playing a Jackson Rhoads!
And the sound is just as good as whenever I've seen them live.
