i bought three albums they are:
The Builders and the Butchers-The Builders and the Butchers l and Salvation Is a Deep Dark Well
Brand new -Daisy

Have been playing lots of Amberian Dawn, 'Design your universe' by Epica and 'The Days of Gray' by Sonata Arctica.

I haven't decided whether I like it quite yet which is odd for me with a Sonata Record. It's usually instant love for me.

^ Sure is, but that's only positive. Sonata stated showing signs of progress on "Winterheart's Guild" already by reducing speed and adding some neo-classical passages and stuff. For those who can't think out of the box there are enough powermetal bands to slay all the remaining dragons with repeating generic double-bass driven sounds until extinct.

Happy New Year!
I recently checked out a band from Russia called Citadel which was quite interesting. The male and female vocalists were quite good but I couldn't help thinking the male vocalist was a bit overpowering. The vocalist in me kept wanting to shout at him about vocal blending rather than blatantly trying to outsing the other. One of my pet hates!

I preordered album from a finnish band called Whispered. Sounds promising and I'm waiting alot from this album.. But we'll see.. It is released 10.2 in Finland.
Here's the homepage http://whisperedband.com
