New Album Purchases

My recent purchases are Kim Richey's Thorn in My Heart (non-metal) and the Geoff Tate edition of Queensryche's Frequency Unknown.

Oh and I pre-ordered Pamela Moore's Resurrect Me from Rat Pak Records a couple days ago as well.

Just received my copy of Circle by Amorphis (korean import). I've only heard the first 6 tracks thus far but they sound great! It's heavier than some of their previous albums, which is a welcome change. It's bound to be one of my favorites of the year.

Not exactly an "album", but my Imaginaerum DVD showed up in the mail yesterday. Kiitos, Michèle!

Just got the Beth Hart / Joe Bonamassa CD Seesaw the other day.

By the way, just did a review of the new Queensryche CD Frequency Unknown. You can check out via this Pop-topia.com link if interested in what I had to say.

I picked up U.D.O.'s Steelhammer CD and got the Dio CD and DVD Finding the Sacred Heart Live in Philly 1986.

At this point I more or less have every CD I want that's out there right now, so to get my new music fix i'm going to be upgrading some of my favorite albums to their 'japanese' or 'import' counterparts for the extra tracks.

Soilwork - The Panic Broadcast (either mailorder edition or japan import not sure, i know it has 13 tracks and a dvd though)
Elvenking - Red Silent Tides (Picture vinyl. Not a huge fan of vinyl but seeing as they are my favorite band I need this)

I picked up the deluxe edition of the new self-titled Queensryche CD and the deluxe edition reissue of the Dio CD Magica.

^Waiting for my copy to get here in the mail, but I have heard the album and it is f*ckin' amazing. I haven't been this psyched over a Queensrÿche album since the '90s. You could have easily put this album between Mindcrime and Empire and there would have been no loss in the transition.

Now all we need to do is resurrect Kurt Cobain and put a Clinton back in office, and I'll feel like I'm 16 all over again!
