New Born of Osiris Song-Produced by Bulb and Casey Sabol

I really don't see whats so wrong with it, tbh. How the fuck can you guys judge something so quickly, and judge song writing from 30 second clips? Please at least pretend to be objective instead of blithering idiots.

As much as I like Periphery and think Misha is a very talented musician, I'm really getting tired of his productions. His Superior drum sound no longer sounds exciting to me in the least, and the same goes for the guitar sounds. I think he's a talented enough dude to be able to pull off some really legit productions eventually, but as long as he continues procrastinating the general use of microphones and learning a lot of the really fundamental audio engineering techniques and experiences, I think he's just driving himself further and further down a dead end road. I seriously don't think I could bring myself to buy another album produced by him at this point, no matter who the artist is (even Periphery), just because I don't want to hear those sounds anymore, ever.

Funny how the Axe FX is meant to be so versatile too, but instead almost everyone that owns one just makes it sound like the same shit

We can judge it by the past albums that have been recorded by him.

Or maybe it's just ironic that it just sounds exactly what everybody expected it to sound like.

^^^ That's the worst saying ever! It's like you dislike it... so you must just be one of those haters and your point is moot automatically despite your great reasoning and key points.. There's all the fashions of typical bulb production there, and yeah, it doesn't sit well with me either! Shame

This def isn't the worst thing i have ever heard. Like i know it would of sounded better with joey. But this sounds a lot better then the last stuff they did. Their first album will always be their best album. But i am curious to hear what this new full length is going to sound like once they are done with it.

can't say tat this is to my taste....
but then i again ive just been recording live with no click to tape...

hey, sorry to hi jack this thread a little bit, but we're accepting "melodic metal" demo's for 1 month only. if you play melodic metal and want to work with me, now is your chance. we will be choosing one band to potentially work with. and i will make it worth your while.

send demos / links / press kits to foundationdemos@gmail.com

while I do like bulbs music, Im not much of a fan of axe fx or superior. A world where real studios that record bands on real instruments with real amps is one I dont want to live in.

I guess there will always have to be a few good studios to make drum samples in, and nice rooms to take impulses from, but overall I`m not a fan of the direction music production is taking.

and glitch is soooo ghey now. I wonder if bulb is capable making a production with no glitch! I guess it bedazzles scene fags.

Yeah , this sounds pretty shitty. Music keeps getting less inspired too , I think they just had beginner's luck on the first album

i think it sounds way better than the other stuff on their page
but i'm not really into periphery and all this other core stuff, so it may be that bulb uses the same sounds all over again, and you guys who listen more to it are completely tired of it
