Bloomingdale Disc Replay is relocating to Algonquin and no longer carrying cds, so they were 65% off, so I cleared them out on some good metal that was left.

John Arch - A Twist of Fate
Destiny's End - Transition
Paul Gilbert & Freddie Nelson - United States
Jag Panzer - The Age of Mastery (Original release)
Khymera - A New Promise
Leather - Shock Waves
Lizzy Borden - Deal with the Devil
T.T. Quick - Metal of Honor
U.D.O. - Mission No. X

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!! I don't go there a whole ton, but I got a friend who lives that way and whenever I see him I tend to make a trip to that disc replay and FYE. I'm shocked actually that they have a number of those titles you list.

Thye've had some of those titles for months because they were asking for obscene amounts of money for them so no one bought them. But since they were 65% I actually picked them up like the Leather cd (13.99) and Jag Panzer (14.99).

You know, that's one thing I noticed about that store. Their prices were a lot more than other disc replays I've been to.

Yep, it was a bullshit store. I once asked about those prices and why they were rape my asshole high, and it's because they go off Amazon prices. Not the new Amazong prices but the people selling their copies on their. Such as the Mercyful Fate - Melissa CD/DVD they were selling for $44. Brand new anywhere online its no more than $20. So fuck that store haha

Fuck, I got that new at FYE when I worked there for I think 18 (less with my discount of course). Yeah, I did hear they go off Amazon prices, but I figured it was the regular Amazon prices.

I have seen FYEs do the same exact thing with used discs; I wonder how often some one will stumble into FYE and pay $50 for a Kick Axe CD, but hey maybe it works for them.

That seems to be the trend. A couple of the local used CD stores have been doing that here. I wish they'd just go straight through Amazon or Ebay instead of putting a used disc on the rack for $19.99.

We had a similar pricing system at the shop I worked at in Ohio. What stunk was that if there was something that was not in stock at all at Amazon would default to $19.99. There would be stuff price at $150-200 that would just sit there forever. The good thing was that the max we would pay out for any one CD was $5. And employee discount was cost plus a $1. So I got some freaking amazing deals. Pretty much spent all my paychecks at the store.

Having worked for them, I don't think they really know how much shit costs. I've seen some pretty rare stuff get marked to nothing, while other stuff highly priced for no reason. At FYE it's all set via the computer listing on said item.

That is true about FYE. I picked up Metallica Kill 'Em All original Megaforce cd pressing for only $10 and i've seen it sell for $200+ on ebay twice.
