Paradise Lost's Tragic Idol is one of my faves for this year. I need to pick up that Watchtower reissue.

The remastering on the Watchtower is pretty amazing.

I save up all year to make an epic buy at ProgPower, because I know I can get a ton of what I want at a really great price. This isn't a regular occurrence.

Bangalore Choir is a fun album. I haven't listened to the reissue yet, but the original album is pretty standard melodic hair metal.

Yeah, Progpower usually is my annual splurge too. I'd say your list is about equal in amount to what I did last year. The vendor room is always one of the highlights for me.

It looks legit to me. 1994 Thunderload Records Made in Sweden. Full booklet, silver press CD, etc.

Wish I would have bought the other two (Full Speed and Stronger than Evil I think) from Heaven and Hell cause this album rocks. I've been playing it all week.

I've never heard of that version. The only legit CD I know of was released by the Japanese label King Records in 1996.

If the guy who sold it to you also had Full Speed, it's probably a boot, because that album has never had an official CD release.

I didn't think it was terrible (the single), just not up to par. I just listened to it and let's just say their streak of great albums has come to a close. I'm not saying there's nothing good on it, but it's definitely a mixed bag, where surprisingly the slow songs are actually the best of the bunch.
