Black Sabbath - Never Say Die

I like this album much more than I used to (title track is fantastic), but it is probably my least favorite Sabbath album (yes, even more than Forbidden all, which I actually enjoy). Technical Ecstasy has really been climbing my listen list, too.

I like this album much more than I used to (title track is fantastic), but it is probably my least favorite Sabbath album (yes, even more than Forbidden all, which I actually enjoy). Technical Ecstasy has really been climbing my listen list, too.

It's not a bad album. Nowhere near the quality of the first 6, but I do think it's a tad bit better than Technical Ecstasy. Never listened to Forbidden, so I can't say on that one.

It's not a bad album. Nowhere near the quality of the first 6, but I do think it's a tad bit better than Technical Ecstasy. Never listened to Forbidden, so I can't say on that one.

Forbidden isn't as bad as people like to claim. It's still Tony Martin so worth a listen for that alone.

Metallica - ...And Justice For All

The problem with Forbidden is you can tell the mix is shitty (a la the original Born Again) and a few of the songs are half baked/rushed ideas, but the album has some solid material on it.

Re: Forbidden. Always liked the album. Killer title track. First bought it 20 years ago on cassette. Last bought a Japanese version with a bonus track.

Yeah, I don't know. I think I didn't really give them much of a chance before the fest when they played. Left after one song. But I had the urge to check out more, and really have liked it. Enough to buy all the albums.
