I don't think they have anything that the previous reissues didn't have, but they are some very nice looking reissues.

Dungeon - A Rise To Power ($3)
Skanners - Flagellum Dei ($1.50) [yes you read that right -- great blind buy]
Saint Vitus - Lillie: F-65 ($9) [only NEW one of the bunch]

Skanners and Battlelust were pretty much blind buys... The former seems to be awesome, and the latter is pretty terrible.

Also, getting ready to put in my pre-order for the new Candlemass and possibly the new Grand Magus on amazon...

Which version of the Candlemass album did you go for - the standard one, or the limited edition with the bonus DVD (making of + 70,000 tons of metal)?

I'm leaning towards the latter, but wish I knew more about it (like how long the segments are and if they both contain performances or not).

I got the limited. It's Candlemass, I'll always get the better version. I notice they've already raised the price as when I ordered it, it was 18 and now it's 19 something.

Nice. I picked up the Angel Witch, Blood Ceremony and Orange Goblin from FYE too. You can't beat $9.99. AW and OG are my top two favorite albums so far this year.

Prices definitely weren't like that when I was working there. I actually talked to one of my old managers and he said that FYE struck a deal with some of the record labels, which is why a lot of metal is cheaper.

I actually bought into their VIP program. I figure if they're going to have a steady stream of Century/NB/Metal Blade/Rise Above titles at that price, I may as well get an additional discount.

I admit this time I was tempted, but I just don't know if in a year it will pay itself off. Plus, I so dreaded having to sell those things, I really didn't want to give in.

It just dropped to 16.99 today so I put in my pre-order for the Limited Edition of Candlemass, and to fill out my order (for that lovely free shipping) I also got the new Grand Magus.

I was going to add in the new Hour of 13, but it wasn't available on amazon. WTF?
