I completely read that wrong before, for some reason my brain decided not to acknowledge the "non-" and i thought ypu said i get violent around them. Oops.

Been seeing more alcohol pictures than dog pictures or basketball related posts on his FB lately. Even his family is pointing out all his "drama" lately.

You and Bobby should go panty raiding this weekend.
Between him, Mendoza, Odin, and Joey....it will be a battle to see who will be the drunkest.
I think we will see tons of drunk mosquito's after they hit Joey. his blood is better than any DDT.

Eh. Just having fun. As for my posts, well we're dogless now and the NBA is over.
I doubt I'll drink much during the weekend. I'm not a big fan of drinking at shows as I like to experience the show.

This has spent quite a bit of time in my CD player (finally booting Black Sabbath's 13, lol). I like it even more now than when I first got it.
Going to take it out to check out the newest Place of Skulls album tomorrow; but the EP of tracks that didn't make Nailed was quite good.

I remember having this CD MANY years ago.
Didn't last long at all.
I am not a BM guy at all.
Sons of Northern Darkness is pretty much where they begin and end for me.
I know that's probably blasphemous to Immortal fans but so be it.
Its funny they did a 2CD version of MAGICA.
I mean no one cared when it FIRST came out at all.
The dude was barely filling places like ToTo's in Schaumburg at the time.
This isn't a slam to YOU personally at all.
It just goes to show how capitalization on someone's death can turn lost relics into respectable pieces of work again.
Like if Blaze Bailey were to croak, there would be deluxe reissues all of a sudden of X Factor (Which I do like) and Virtual XI all of a sudden.

Immortal has always been a bit different from all the black metal bands from their era; i.e. they dont sing about Satan and burning all the christians. Plus i have always found their music more enjoyable. This was just for the collection, it'll be catalogued into Excel and then boxed in the basement.
I think it was only a matter of time before Magica would be reissued even if he was still alive. Sure, his death has advanced things quicker but come on it's Dio, all his albums would eventually get the deluxe treatment as they have been over the past 2 years.

I love Magica, such a great album. It and Killing The Dragon were real high points for Dio musically, IMO.
What pisses me off about that re-released version is that instead of putting the magica story on disk one, and all of Magica played live (which they did on that tour), plus the bonus tracks... They just did like half of the album live on the second disk and put the story there for NO reason.
