Sounds like it will be more musically diverse than the first two albums. Looking forward to it. Video was well done too, except for the Frontiers bumper at the beginning. Yikes! Talk about cringe-worthy. It was like a 90's CG thing in the theater where they advertise all sorts of candy and soda to you with terrible sound and random 3D objects flying around. They should just have a nice logo at the beginning, but instead it ate up a good 10-15 seconds. But I know that was completely out of the bands hands.
looking forward to this!!! I had my CM cherry popped last year and have loved it since!!!
only thing is the album cover could have been cooler.. Its cool now but i mean, just plain white? I think they could have done something more clever than that eh?

Very much looking forward to this. This is a band that on paper should be in my top 10 bands but they fall just outside that. The singer is for me an amazing vocalist. Their musicianship is also very impressive to say the least. The part I have struggled with is in the songs themselves. Using baseball analogies, they have some songs that are no doubt grand slams, some that are triples and some doubles. Comparably, a band like Seventh Wonder ( for me ) hits way more grand slams and homers with no double what so ever. I can listen to any Seventh Wonder cd from cover to cover without skipping a song. I find myself skipping more songs than I would like when spinning CM. This is not a knock in the sense that I am putting them down as they have churned out some amazing tunes for sure. Also, the live set at PPUSA was without a doubt one of the best live shows I have ever seen. These guys reproduce on stage the cd experience as good as anyone I have ever seen and I have seen a crap ton of shows. I think the samples on the video above sound very good and I hope that this album slays. I have a fever for some great melodic prog metal and I hope this will be the cure.

It is very simple. But I think if you look at a high res pic of the cover the white is actually some sort of marble texture or something to that effect.

I'm looking forward to getting this. The very few reviews I've seen so far seem split down the middle to those who really like it to those who absolutely hate it... I don't think anything Michael sings on could sound bad though, but I've reserve judgement until I've got the chance to hear the whole thing.
