WTF are you talking about? Who's upset? The thread was posted knowing fine well it wouldn't go down very well, it's a bit of fun. I like Deicide, I could care less if other people don't.

I don't know it's a matter of opinion. I never thought the Hoffman brothers stuff was that good, and along comes Jack Owen and Ralph Santolla and we get blazing leads and thrashydeath style that blazes in hellfirewinds.

Edit: And Amorphis' new shit is pretty damn gay, but Karelian Isthmus is some fucking solid death/doom, and Tales From The Thousand Lakes is good in a different, but similar way.

There are apparently two correct ways of pronouncing 'deity', one of which is dee-i-tee, so dee-i-cide is just fine.
