The grills are dark grey, the Engl logo is metallic. So I could just paint my grill and logo black and I'd never go back... to the music shop, since I already have the new cab! Ha! Ape 1, Engl 0!!
Haha, well I can only hope there's more changed than just the color! (and the tolex on current Engl cabs is grey as well)

yep and that's black too. But I'm not good at spotting colors anyway. Dark blue and black looks the same to me

Actually I didn't mean to imply that the Engl cabs need changing, just that I hope if they're marketing it as some big new product that there's more changed than just the color!

Yeah - perhaps new construction (materials, dimension) will play the biggest part in difference in sound.
