But, jokes aside i can see where you getting at. If i would bought every album that "sucked" i would probably have my house filled with cds, and not even listen to them. Still in the case of Anathema i would only refuse to buy the album if the lads made an entire album with covers of backstreet boys and Spice Girls and the cover was a photo of them naked... hehe

I ain't voting for anything until I heard the albums.
The latest Anathema albums were better than the MDB ones (except Judgement), but I have always liked old MDB better than old Anathema.

The new MDB, definitely. The Dreadful Hours, their last release, completely blew me away. As good as, if not better than anything else they've done. I'm sure the new Anathema will be great too though.

Ah they're milking the same cow over and over again now. I don't think they've made any bad cd's, but it's not exactly new anymore.

the last MDB was better than AFDtE of which I only really like 4 songs of the album. The reason I made the poll was they have always been my two favorite bands (along with katatonia) and they are being released the same day so it's only right I would judge them like this

I think A Natural Disaster will hopefully be a more stable and creative album than the last

The new MDB will be Dark and Doomy with a lot of keys, growling and epic sadness but so what? This is the best shit ever imo hehe
